Upon arrival at Danang airport, our driver greets and sends you to Hoi An ancient town, recognized by UNESCO as a World Heritage. Located on the bank of Thu Bon River, the town known as Faifo to early Western traders was one of the major trading centers in Southeast Asia between 16th and 17th century. The main streets have been kept almost intact, check in hotel, free at leisure. Accommodation in Hoi An  

07:30       Our guide picks you up at hotel and drive to My Son Sanctuary, located 50 km from Hoi An, was an imperial city during the Cham dynasty between the 4th and 12th centuries. My Son sanctuary is a large complex of religious relics that comprises of more than 70 architectural works. They include temples and towers that connect to each other with intricate red brick designs. The main component of the Cham architectural design is the tower built to reflect the divinity of the King.

09:00       Arrive in My Son to discover various culture values in My Son – a World Heritage recognized in 1999 by Unesco, Explore Cham-style Art of Architecture. Visit the Tra Kieu capital which was the former administrative centre of Champa kingdom. Discover the majestic ancient ruins at My Son including ancient towers which were built from 4th Century. There originally were about 70 towering temples here, now remain only 20 towers square and built of red bricks without mortar, typical of the Cham architecture. My Son Holy See is right in the valley surrounded by mountains that makes it more holy and mysterious.

11:15       Proceed to the dock and board on boat cruise along Thu Bon river back to Hoi An.

12:15    Enjoy Vietnamese food in lunch on the cruise

14:00       Disembark the cruise and back to your hotel.

Later in this afternoon, you can freely walk to discover this charming town: visit to a traditional Chinese Communal House, Hoi Kien Temple, ancient Merchants’ Houses, the 400-year-old Japanese Covered Bridge & spending time in colorful local market. You can also visit to a typical local house and observe the daily life with their traditional trades of making lantern. Here you will have a brief introduction to the history, shape, and color of the lanterns as well as the many stages of making them. You can make your lantern at your own account and keep it as a souvenir. Hoi An lantern is various size and shape, from normal lantern to dragon lantern or fish lantern with full of color. Hoi An people highly pride on their lantern. It is very simple and easy to do. Wondering in this town by nights brings you a great and unique feeling that you cannot find in any corner in the World.
