Upon arrival, you will be met and transfer to the hotel. Free at leisure after check-in.

1. Full Day Kinabalu Park & Poring Hot Spring (Lunch)

0730hrs depart from city hotel. The drive takes about 1.5 hours through scenic countryside and beautiful mountain range. On the way, stop by at the Nabalu Fruit Market. Arrive at Kinabalu Park HQ, jungle walk with the park naturalist and guide. Visit the Mountain Garden or Plant Research Centre. See the smallest orchid in Borneo and experience the different vegetation. Visit the exhibition centre and watch interesting slide shows the animals and unique plants species found only at Mount Kinabalu. Afternoon, lunch at local restaurant.  Depart to Poring Hot Spring with another 45 minutes’ drive through the countryside passing through Kundasang’s vegetable growing town. Upon arrival, take a 20 minutes hike to reach the Canopy Walkway. Experience the height of 200 feet above ground from top of the tree itself or proceed back to Kota Kinabalu.

2. Mari-Mari Cultural Village (5 hrs) (Lunch)

Mari Mari Cultural Village tour is located deep in the countryside about 25 minutes away from the modern and developing Kota Kinabalu city. The village operates as a museum that preserves Borneo ethnic culture. After breakfast, at 9.00am, pick up from hotel and proceed to Inanam for Mari-Mari Cultural Village. Upon arrival, you will be greeted as preparation for you time-travelling into prehistoric Borneo; briefing on the Village Rules is a must before you enter. You will be greeted by the Chief and go through a custom Welcome Ceremony. Then you may walk through the suspension bridge to enter Mari-Mari. Mari-mari Cultural Village is combination of five ethnics such as Dusun, Rungus, Murut, Bajau and Lundayeh. Every ethnic has their own exotic stories and traditional dance as well as their historical. Lunch will be served inside Mari-Mari itself. After lunch, it is time to bid farewell to the villagers and depart into the 21st century, as we transfer you to your respective back to hotel.

3. Full Day Klias River Safari Tour (Proboscis Monkey + Fireflies) (Dinner)

With the bizarre-looking proboscis monkeys gaining as much popularity with the tourists as the Orang Utan, the Klias Wetland with its large proboscis population is the latest ecotourism destination.

At 1430hrs depart from the city hotel and the journey takes approximately 2 hours drive to the Southern part of Kota Kinabalu. Enjoy the scenic view as you pass through paddy fields, oil palm plantation and native houses among others. Upon arrival, light refreshment (local tea / coffee served with local cakes) is served in the typical village house. With the bizarre-looking proboscis monkeys gaining as much popularity with the tourists as the Orang Utan, the Klias Wetland with its large proboscis population is fast becoming the latest ecotourism destination in Sabah. These tree-dwelling animals normally hunt for food in the evenings so many boat cruises depart the Kota Klias jetty at around 1600hrs. Other riverside residents that may be spotted are macaques, crocodiles, monitor lizards, tree snakes and birds such as the eagle. Back on the jetty enjoy a natural light show when thousands of fireflies put on a glowing performance for your benefit. A sumptuous kampong styled dinner is served. After dinner, return to Kota Kinabalu.
