Just send Certified copies of passport of all people included in the application. We only expect passport biodata pages to be certified.
Passports must not have expired. As we have gone visa label free there is no need to send your original passport.
This is to confirm that medicals are only required for clients above 75 years of age.

Take note:
For employer letter – must mention stating the position you hold/length of employment/monthly salary and leave approval dates granted.

For Letter from school – must mention stating the course you are attending/start and end date of your course and leave approval dates granted.

For self- employed – latest income tax statement and company registration (eg ACRA business profile/company registration)

5. For tourists and a single entry visa, applicant will be asked to produce different kinds of documents including confirmed air ticket, personal invitation from Bangladesh etc
6. For Multiple Entry Visa, formal letter of invitation from established Bangladeshi business houses or
government establishment is required. Another letter from own company is also required.
7. For “E” and “PI” type visa letter from Board of Investment (BOI)/Bangladesh Export Processing Zones Authority (BEPZA)/Home Ministry is required
8. Processing time is usually three (3) working days for Brunei nationals. Processing for other nationals may take upto 7 (seven) working days.
9. Third country citizens are requested to collect visa from own/accredited country unless holding valid employment pass/work pass/long term stay permit in Brunei.

Processing Period:
Most applications are processed in 5 working days, but in certain cases it may take longer. Applicants are advised to apply for a visa well in advance of a trip. For foreigners working in Brunei, please apply at least 3 weeks prior to departure.

• Brunei Nationals do not require a visa to enter Japan for a short-stay trip of 15 days or less, such as a vacation or visiting relatives. Some specific purposes do require a visa, applicants should contact the Visa Section at the Embassy for further information.
• Brunei Certificate of Identity holders (Brunei PR) are required to obtain a visa to visit Japan. Furthermore, the Certificate of Identity and re-entry visa must have validity for more than 6 months.
• For foreign nationals, the Embassy only accepts visa applications from those who reside in Brunei Darussalam. In other words, you cannot apply for a visa if you are a short-term visitor such as a tourist, or if you are visiting family members in Brunei. However, if there are unavoidable circumstances, consult with the Japanese Embassy before making the application.

Documents needed:

1. Valid passport and copy (the bio-data page and for foreigners working in Brunei we also require the pages with Brunei’s Immigration stamps example Employment Pass, Dependent Pass, Re-Entry etc).  Make sure passport has at least 4 blank visa pages.
2. One (1) official visa application form.
3. One (1) recent passport size photo with white background taken at least within 6 months and to be affixed to the application form.  Do not staple.
4. Air ticket or flight itinerary or tentative flight booking.

5. Letter from employer using company’s letterhead certifying the identity of the applicant, period of service in the company and purpose of journey to Japan and/or copy of company’s registration.  Brunei national passport holder and Brunei Certificate of Identity holder are not required to submit this document if the purpose of visit is only for tourism.
6. Copies of marriage and birth certificates (if requested).
7. Latest 3-months bank statement.  For those applicants who are self-employed or those who are not working, please produce a self-explanatory letter stating how expenses will be borne and copy of the bank statement of the person who is sponsoring the applicant for the trip.

8. Confirmed hotel reservation from Japan.
9. Schedule of stay/Itinerary in Japan.
